Hi I am posting because my Transmission is going out in my Van and I have no other way to get a vehicle right now. I am a single mom of 3 and money is tight just keeping basics and utilities and rent paid. Hi there, fellow Crossroadian. My name is Christy, and I need a HUGE favor! My husband and I are long-time Crossroads attenders (8+ years), and the Lord has recently blessed us by providing a new job for me. (woo-hoo!) I couldn't be more excited about my new opportunity! However, accepting this new job and leaving my current one means that I lose my company vehicle. (I know, I know, I was spoiled, right?!) My husband and I are {THIS CLOSE} to paying off $40,000+ in debt, thanks to Dave Ramsey and his FPU plan, and we anticipate that we will be able to purchase a car with cash in about 2 months. Until then (and this is where you come in) we really need a car so I can get to this new job of mine. If you would be able to lend us a vehicle for any amount of time between Memorial Day and the 4th of July, it would be a HUGE help to us. Seriously, even if only for a few days. I would be driving the car about 10 miles each way to work, and then for close errands, like the grocery store. Please let us know if this is something you would be willing to consider. Awesome.
